This Pedder house was constructed in 1919 by A.R. Pedder, one of the developers of the Bower's Addition subdivision. Rectangular in plan, it has a very low, front facing gable roof. The roof has modest eave and gable overhangs, with the latter supported on extended purlins. The gable end is decorated with a horizontally emphasized, glazed attic vent. The raised porch is centered and extends across three-quarters of the front facade. It is covered by a projecting gable roof with exposed purlins. The porch roof is supported on four, 4x4 posts which probably replace original battered posts. The front door and windows are asymmetrical, unusual in this simple bungalow form. The door is partially glazed and the windows are one-over-one double-hung. The house is clad in stucco. The house retains its integrity of design, materials, workmanship, setting, feeling and association.
