The Warner Home
Built in 1931 as a wedding gift for William and Fern Warner (University Farm Circle 1996, 5) (Lofland 1999)

This imposing Dutch Colonial Revival house was identified in both the 1982 and 1999 historic resource surveys. Constructed in 1931 it is one of the few houses in this area to be sited on a double lot. As noted in the context statement, while sitting on multiple lots was a common pattern of land use in other parts of Davis, Old North developed on a more traditional suburban pattern of one house, one lot. The house appears to have been unchanged since it was previously evaluated.
